2026 Colorado Hail Storms

Every documented hail event in Red Hawk’s service area this season, plus every significant large-hail day statewide, with a full report for each. Sizes in the ground column are National Weather Service Local Storm Reports — what an observer found on the ground. Radar figures are estimates and are labelled as such; a dash means we publish no radar number for that event. The radar contour scale stops at 2.75″, so a ≥2.75″ figure means “at least that size” rather than a peak — ground reports on those days can and do run larger. Wind events are marked as such: the ground column shows the largest gust an instrument measured (or “wind damage” where the NWS logged damage but no gust), and the radar column shows the wind figure the NWS warned for, because no radar estimate exists for surface wind.
